Norfolk Wedding Photography
at Kimberley Hall near Norwich
by October James
We love Kimberley Hall. It’s one of the most impressive wedding venues in the area with its imposing front façade and stunning grounds. Built in 1712, this family home is situated on the ‘hill at Downham’ in an Arcadian landscape designed in 1778 by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. The house overlooks a substantial 15-acre lake and the River Tiffey valley and its park is home to Norfolk’s best collection of ancient oaks.
The 18th-century rooms in the Hall and West Wing offer a combination of traditional grandeur with a unique, stylish entertainment space incorporating a contemporary bar area. Despite its idyllic rural setting, Kimberley is centrally located in Norfolk, 9 miles from Norwich and with good road, rail and air links, close-by. They even have a private air strip for light aircraft!
Inside, grand staircases, stunning windows and a wealth of period features make wonderful backdrops for your wedding photography while the house and gardens allow us to capture beautiful outside shots.
